I took Sertraline for 1 wk followed by 6 wks 10mg Lexapro (Escitalopram). I dropped to 1/2 dose after 6 wks (during the 7th week) - too much stomach pain after 5 wks, which continued some at 5mg - weaned off completely after that. Due to stomach discomfort or pain, I actually felt worse taking it - more anxiety. I never felt it helped my mood. I wish I had tolerated it to try until at least 12 weeks.
