You need to put in a mental block. What I did was whenever I noticed my mind trying to listen to or analyse my t, like "today my t is..." I would abruptly add in "not to be listened to!". For example. Sometimes this needed to be done frequently but it stopped many cases of actually analysing my t and made me try analysing it less after time!
