It all seems so different for every person. Magnesium seems to spike me, yet other people take it with no problem. Wish I had an answer.

Yeah, everyone is different, and with different meds, also supplements/food/alcohol/thc/cbd. And sometimes, I'm not even sure if something is affecting my tinnitus because it has a good range of variability normally. I did feel I had more chirping tones from Sertraline followed by Lexapro.

I'm not touching the Lexapro he prescribed me. Trazadone was the spike from hell, and I only took .25. My brain didn't like it. I like Hydroxyzine, but it was causing hissing once in a while. It was effective and would help me sleep. I'm afraid to touch any meds. They're all nasty and can turn on you quickly.

All I need is something to help my anxiety and sleep better. Once that's taken care of, I can fix the depression quickly without meds. Finding something that won't spike is the problem. I have the Gabatipen script sitting here, but I'm afraid to try a 100mg small dose. I don't want to go through hell for a few days if my brain doesn't agree

I'm not sure why my tinnitus has gotten worse these past few years. My hearing is the same. I eat very healthily and exercise regularly, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I powered through it for eight years and never read anything about T until I joined here. I probably could have done something different that might have helped.

Well I cant say I blame you about Lexapro... but I don't like to go around telling people what to take and not take. Read the information out there and make your own decision. I wish I would of been more informed!

Hydroxyzine doesn't appear to affect my tinnitus at all, but it seems to have little effect on my sleep. I'm not sure about anxiety because it's all over the place anyway, and I take it at bedtime. Lorazepam 0.5 mg helps a little with anxiety. I take only every few days since it's a benzo. Still looking for something different also.

I have relied on Lorazepam more the last three months, taking a half most of the time every night, but recently, I have been taking the other half to help knock me out with these terrible spikes. I still wake up. I went for three days earlier this month without taking one. I didn't have any withdrawals that I knew of. I don't know how long or how much you need to take to get withdrawals

Hydroxyzine gives me a spike because I have a bad ETD. The antihistamine irritates my ETD and sets off the hissing alarm in my brain. any flu/Colds affect my ears and triggers T. Sucks.
