How long have you had your T for? I'm sorry you've had to join us. Wishing you the best.

I resonate with this statement. I believed them as well. So sorry we have to endure this because of a drug meant to help us.

A year for you, two years now for me at the severe level. I feel the same regret about taking SSRIs for about 2months. Still experiencing stomach issue over 2 months after weaning off. That causes even more anxiety than tinnitus alone.

You could never have known. In the words of Kierkegaard,"life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards."

2 years since an urgent care Dr. (That I wasn't even supposed to see) said I had an ear infection and prescribed the most ototoxic ear drops and prednisolone that gave me debilitating tinnitus. And the fact that I kept taking them for a couple of days bc I thought it was the ear infection causing the T. I was so scared and lost..

Agreed... it sucks... but how would we have known.

@RunningMan Oh, I'm so sorry yours got worse. As if Tinnitus wasn't horrible enough. SSRIs can really mess you up. I hope your stomach issues are able to get better with time.

@Tryn2BHopeful You're right there's no way we could of known. I was on that same drug before years earlier with no issues but unfortunately this time around it was a different story. I'm so sorry you got it the same way.
