I know it's hard. I am downplaying your suffering to any degree. I just wanted to say your story sounds so promising. If ear plugs can make things silent it's such a good sign. I'm not a doctor but try not to over use them. You should be in the 95 percent. You will be soon.

@4Grace The volume of my T never really was the problem. It's the reactive T and diplacusis that are making things difficult. But I think i'm still in the mild category and now that I got my anxiety under control (most of the time) it is getting better.
