I'm glad you're getting a mouthpiece made and hope it helps you. Mine has interchangeable bands on it. It supposed to be for sleep apnea and TMD.

@BellaMia, I'm crunchy on my left side. I'm bone on bone so on left so probably need a prosthetic jaw. Not looking forward to that surgery. My right TMJ looks good. Did you get a scan of your TMJ? TMJ MRI is supposed to be the gold standard.

@just1morething No, I never got a scan. I had 1 person say I didn't have it and another said I possibly did. I figured at this point what can it really hurt? I do grind and clench and that side pops every now and again. I don't think a miracle is gonna happen but why not try for one.

I've had head MRIs though last year of the right side of my face. Maybe they can tell from those?

@BellaMia, My jaw sometimes feels better but I still have noise that is annoying. My left jaw is so bad I need a prosthetic jaw. You need a special coil to do a TMJ MRI.
