@BellaMia, did you check out your TMJ more thoroughly as a possible cause of your tinnitus? Did you see side by side imaging of your left and right TMJ? It could be ETD caused by TMJ irritation.
Even though you have endured a lot you have always kept a kind spirit about you. Rarely complain. Always positive. Always taking the time to offer words of encouragement. Don't change a thing and I think you will be okay. How the hell all this shit happens to some people is just insane.
It is a challenge for sure, but eventually you'll cope better with it and as a result youll feel better about dating. I know it sounds crazy but youll deal with the t better in time.
@4Grace That was really sweet of you thank you! I try to stay positive and hopeful because being negative doesn't solve anything. I still have my moments though. However I know only time can heal.
@Stayinghopeful It's gotten better in time but still annoys me. Dating will be a different world but not impossible. That's a long way aways though. How long have you had T? What caused yours?
@Jupiterman Yeah, my family members have T. My life isn't really altered by this condition (thank God) besides me getting annoyed at times. I have very mild hyperacusis and the noise has gotten less intense. I'm very thankful for that but I still have those moments where I'm just sick of hearing it. I know time will help and a year isn't anything when it comes to T.
@Stayinghopeful as long as her hyperacusis doesn't get worse. @BellaMia make sure you protect your ears as much as possible. I was getting so much better then the hyperacusis got worse. And then Noxacusis!
