Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
Well, until there's an effective treatment other than masking, there isn't much hope. We have the Shore device to look forward to. And the side effects like anxiety can be treated.
there's no treatment. their treatment is "just sound, won't kill you, step out and listen to all the ambulances, firetrucks, better yet go to a rock concert - and it'll fade away miraculously!"
When i first told my PCP i had tinnitus she immediately said 'there's no cure' and ended the conversation. i honestly think doctors don't want to be bothered figuring out T (because it's common/many things cause it) or because it extends beyond their specialties. They are really clueless beyond their specialties.
