Hey @Andrew40 , so sorry to hear about your current status. I know at 8, 9, 11 months I was asking myself the same: why am I not getting better and why does it seem to get worse?

@Andrew40 I can tell you I didn't experience stability until I calmed my nervous system down some, started to be able to take naps, and started intense therapy. That's what got me started on the other side..

@Andrew40 right now I am dealing with a spike of some kind.. the most noticeable thing is I have a broken static electric hiss sound back. It's been a while since I heard this one and I'm not happy to hear it, but trying to stay calm and rest my ears when I can.

@Andrew40 spike was a mix of stressful 3 weeks of going back full time, had a cold for like two weeks that definitely affected my Eustachian tubes and middle ears, and then was around a vacuum sound in ear protection earlier last week. I am telling myself with proper rest, protection, and time, this static can calm down again, but going back to work tomorrow after break makes this harder to do.

@Andrew40 when I play the Neuromodulation beeps on the TinnitusPlay app, it does give me relief while listening. I send the frequency to around 12500k

Thank you for your comments. Please remind me, are your tinnitus very reactive?
You wrote about intensive therapy, what is it and what does it consist of?
I also need to relax and calm my nervous system, but I can't do it. Probably you only need pills that themselves worsen the noise.
Are you taking any pills? How did you calm your nervous system?
ErikaS
Yes my tinnitus is reactive. A lot of rain last night, ears did not like that. I do intensive trauma based therapy with a therapist that also consists of brainspotting. You can google that term to learn more..
