No. My T is always horrific no matter what.
MindOverMatter
@SumGuy What you are describing might be TTTS related.
SumGuy
@MindOverMatter yes! it sounds like an engine rumbling. Ive noticed my left ear stopped doing that rumbling and now its only my right which has that rumbling sensenation.
RunningMan
I have TTTS symptoms intermittently with fluttering or thumping of my eardrum, with and without sound stimulus, but if it's caused by sounds, it will stop while I cover my ears.
SumGuy
@RunningMan does yours feel like theres something moving in your ear? I get some strange sensations in my ear sometimes
RunningMan
Yes, that's how it differs very differently from my tinnitus. The TTTS is the muscle contracting. Sometimes it's just individual thumps spontaneously every little bit, and other times more of a continued fluttering to a continuous sound stimulus. Most of the time, it's not happening. Severe T is a much bigger problem for me.

damn my ENT didnt even say anything when I said this before. This makes so much more sense, especially when i sleep on my side, the t is basically gone because there is no pressure on it.

I also randomly feel like muscle spasms and grinding near my jaw joint under my ear.

ok I'll see what I can do about it.

@SumGuy Definetly TTTS. Ive had bouts of this many, many times over several years. It has always eased up for me, but sometimes it can linger for months.
