Thizzle
It can definitely go away

Hopefully the Shore device will bring a good number of us actual reduction in T volume. It seems most success reported so far comes in the way of habituation to mild T or some time healing from an initial noise trauma over a period of months. Completely going away highly unlikely. So far, it's only gotten worse for me over years.

I have issues with my middle ear space and I hope once they clear, my hearing loss will go back up normal and alleviate my symptoms. I am doubtful though. I was very pessimistic about the Susan Shore device but the fact she had a webinar just proves they are serious about moving ahead, if not already submitted! I mean why have it? Just for shoots and giggles?

People that do recover don't hang around these fourms

There are even more reasons to be optimistic than the fact she had a webinar, but that was nice also.

I find the users here are much more informed and understand tinnitus way better than users on Reddit.
