@Supersix Thank you! I wear ear protection only in the kitchen and when I'm in unpredictable situations outside of my home environment. In 22 months, I've definitely improved, but I still have pain spikes. Desperate enough to consider sound therapy at this point.
@gameover I share your skepticism on the subject of sound therapy, but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask, since some methodologies and some audiologists might be superior to others.
The audiologist is incredibly knowledgeable and has a high IQ. He can provide you with all the information you need to know about Tinnitus, as he has conducted extensive research and has Tinnitus worse than mine. He uses masking techniques during the day and at night when he goes to bed."
