I will say what usually takes care of this is going to chiropractor and him adjusting my ears. It's just crazy to me that almost two years later, if I put finger in my R ear canal, tinnitus in L ear gets louder. If I put ear plugs in, especially deep ones, it's almost like it aggravates the nerves and T just by being up against my ear canals. To me, that is an indicator of a somatic component.

@snizzleberry I barely have since my hell started two years ago, just was always careful of surroundings and sound exposure as much as I could be. With reactive T and very sensitive ear canals, it's hard to get the benefits of earplugs without also dealing with irritation and exacerbation.

I don't like the occlusion effect either. The only time I feel like I need to wear them is at the gym because people slamming the weights and machines is hardcore for me. Have you gotten better at all? I'm 7.5 months into this @ErikaS
