Hi @vilebubbles. My T was dreadful - multiple new tones per week (sometimes per day), a rapid increase in volume and sporadic reactive tinnitus. My hearing actually started to echo somewhat, which was very bizarre. The H and N became debilitating, more so the H thankfully. This really impeded me as I had just started studying a PhD.

Thankfully now, the N is now gone >98% of the time, H is gone >95% of the time and the T is awful still (so indescribably loud!). The latter I can work with. I certainly haven't habituated, but it is magnitudes more tolerable than before.

I'm sorry you're going through this, too. I hope you get some respite soon. I wish I could offer advice, but I'd hate to accidentally make it worse for you.

Yea I'm getting new tones and pain daily and tapering off benzos as well now. I'm really scared. Thanks for your story.
