Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
TheDanishGirlKD, Tinnitus will get BETTER trust me. What is blocking people from getting better is because they listen to it and focus on it. Block it out, distract your mind, if you distract your mind the brain pushes it in the back.
TMJ/ETD are another thing altogether. They are awful as they cause me ear pain and ear pressure. It is horrible. If i didnt have them i would have moved on with my life.
Im sorry to hear that, I didnt know TMJ/ETD was painful like that :/ Im not sure it will get better for me anymore, I cant seem to take my focus away from it
TheDanishGirlKD is your T on both ears or one? How many sounds? Can you hear it over TV? I can only hear it in quiet rooms and its easily maskable. How is your H? is that improving?
Yours is more severe than mine, it will take time. Time is the best medicine.
I cant stand ETD, it is awful as hell. I also want to fix my TMJ as that can cause problems in the future.
Im hoping to habituate someday, I could maybe believe it if I did not have horrible benzo withdrawal/tapering to "look forward to" it will probably make the T worse then it is, sigh!
