Hiya, thankfully yes, I can tell you it was the hardest period of my life.

How are you?? :)

Jason.
Jason C
It took about 18 months before it went away to the point I felt like myself again. It takes a long time.
Did you have tinnitus before the alarm??
dpdx
yes, but it was mild and i could only hear in quiet rooms, every day sounds would mask it, now i can hear it everywhere, it has been a week and i am crying.
Jason C
What caused your mild tinnitus??

I dunno why fire alarms need to be so damn loud!
dpdx
It was caused by loud music on Ipod and a concert (combo). Tinnitus is only on left ear, damaged some hair cells, i get spikes quite often. IS your Tinnitus completely gone? Can you heat it in quiet places? My life turned to sh*t so fast...
Jason C
No it's totally gone, I do experience a lot more fleeting tinnitus however.

You dont know how lucky u are.

I am dealing with a nasty spike. Might have to quit my job/

Believe me I count my blessings as to how lucky I am, I have been to hell and back over this.

Hang in there, it gets better :)

How old are you? How did you get T? and how long did it take to go away? sorry for all the qs. I am four months in and i saw improvement in the third month, but now i am back to square one with the fire alarm.
Jason C
I am 38 now, took 12-18 months to totally go away.
