  • Was stuck with a needle at work from a known IVDU. Put on PEP for the exposure. Terrified of it damaging my ears. No win situation.
Nearly ten months in. Absolutely miserable. I'm drowning here. I don't have the mental makeup to beat this. Obsessed with this sound.

Understandable. I just had a daytime nap and my noise came on strong when I woke up. I was doing quite well today until then. Maybe I can knock it out somehow.

My psychiatrist called Dr. Shulman in NY. She said I can call him too. At least I have some gabapentin and clonazepam.
Absolutely have to get on a plane tomorrow. Worried of making things worse. I've got muffs, plugs, and NC headphones. Unsure of best option

    Was it an Airbus plane?

No, it was a Boeing. Ninth row. Second flight was a regional jet with the engines far at the back of the plane. Loudest thing on that flight was the PA speaker right above my head. Both flights were pretty short.

Going to break out the X5s for the return next week.
I've had five good days of feeling close to normal. Not sure why, I just hope it continues.

I had 3 days in a row but today I woke up and my T was louder. Very odd. Hope yours last :)
For the first time in eight months I didn't hear my tinnitus all day today.

Is it completely gone, or can you still hear it in a quiet room or when you wear earplugs?
I seriously need to give this site a break. Any suggestions on how I can actually pull that off? I'm serious.

Ask for a voluntary ban from the site. I have done that a couple of times.

Yeah, then you can't post. PM Markku. Sometimes a break is good.
