  • Hello I'm here with another question I hope by next year to go on a trip but I'm scared to go on an airplane because of my tinnitus
I have a question I hope someone can answer. But is there a safe way for people with tinnitus to go to the movie theaters?

Hearing Aid can block sounds that are too loud and adjust the sounds to a safe level.

I go every so often with foam earplugs for the action scenes. Only if the movie or play really sparks interest.

Yeah cause I wanna go soon to watch a movie I really wanna see thank you I'll just wear some good earplugs :)
And learning to habituate and kinda have so it doesn't bother me as much now I'm just l living my life while being careful but yeah :)
Next time however I'll wear some earplugs my tinnitus has gotten louder for this one year and few months I've had it but I'm accepting it
I turned 19 a couple days ago did some karaoke pretty loud kinda and went somewhere else that was kinda loud only spiked a bit not that much
The ringing gets louder if I'm exposed to a bunch of them I know this since last year's experience they kinda scare me now
Hello I'm back again asking for some advice so Yk Fourth of July how can I protect my ears if I come across fireworks?
    G
If you expect fireworks, go to the quietest place where you can spend that day. Stay indoors. Have foam earplugs and earmuffs.
I have a feeling I'll try my best to get another job Amazon pays good but I know it won't do my ears good in the long run especially since
I get paid good at Amazon and idk if I can find another job that pays good too

I just watched a documentary on Amazon yesterday and how many of the returned items they get are sent directly to landfills, quite heartbreaking.
Wear them everyday out of four days for my full time shift so hopefully after I complete my college I will get another job
I wanna know cause I have a feeling if I work there for a long time my tinnitus will get worse the earplugs help don't get me wrong but I
Hello random but I work at a factory the company Amazon which is kinda loud inside but I wear earplugs been working there six months now

For me, I don't care about money. I'd sooner starve than risk tinnitus everyday I work.
I had tinnitus and that I was basically possibly screwed it hurts because I should've trusted my gut but at the time I was so unstabl
consciousness I heard the ringing for a hit but it went away after an hour or so I fell asleep and when I woke up I've realized that well
To my doctor but they said it was normal one day I was unlucky and I ended up fainting and hitting my head on a bucket after I regained
And I would feel really weak and would almost faint but would sit down before that and would go back to normal it was a concern I bought up
I noticed that however seroquel would lower my blood pressure and that when it did I would see dots cover my vision and ringing in my ears
My tinnitus is in both ears cause by seroquel 100mg which I took for my mental health and I guess sleeping issues

Honestly, 800mg was killer! I was so out of it, I couldn't drag myself out of bed. They thought I was bipolar - turns out, it was a hormone imbalance. *eye roll*. Anyway, if it helps, I got T from taking antibiotics. I wished I had listened to my body and stopped taking it when I started experiencing lots of fleeting T. BUT, we can't live with regrets. It doesn't help.

I think you have a good positive attitude towards all this, so you'll be fine. Just protect your ears from now on, and try to keep doing the things you enjoy. X

Thank you you're right I will keep trying to do the things I enjoy and live the best I can
Hello my name is Yorleny I am 18 years old. Tinnitus started when I was 17 pretty sure it was caused by seroquel 100mg and is permanent.
    catchthebus
Is it bilateral and constant? That really sucks that that happened Mine is also permanent. I hope you're not struggling too much coping with it.
    Y
At first it was but as much as it hurts I've been learning to accept that it will probably last for as long as a live currently I am just concerned about how not to make it louder and louder but even if it does I hope I can cope with it too
