I once asked my acupuncturist that question, and she said "cardio." I don't agree that exercise takes the anger away, but it does keep my mind (and body) preoccupied enough to forget about the anger for a little while.

@Lipshitz it actually is peaches and cream for most people. Severe T is extremely rare and most health problems are temporary. a small portion of the population is suffering . the rest are partying 24/7 with no issue.

Don't know what world you live in but most health conditions aren't temporary, people in their 50s have one chronic health issue , 60s two chronic health issues, 70s three chronic health issues . None of this is temporary, health issues get worse over time through the normal aging process . So your comment on most issues are temporary is moronic .

it is definitely a luxury. I am beginning to think even my chronic IC and my stomach issues is a luxury.

Can confirm. Stone deaf 87 year old grandma who can't hear shit without ultra power hearing aids: no tinnitus. Her brain gating must be elite but I sure as shit didn't inherit it.

@BlueMoon86 I just talked to someone deaf in one ear but with no tinnitus. Is "brain gating" the explanation for this? I always thought that if the cochlea was damaged and not sending signals the brain would pick that up as tinnitus. I wonder what the biological explanation for hearing loss without tinnitus is.

before tinnitus SBUTTs happened like the 2-3 times per year.

@cjbhab yup, very similar to me. 1-2 a day is usually my average. But I also get some split second loud tones (without the blocked sensation of the SBUTT) instead, which may or may not be a SBUTT. Crazy stuff.

I also can’t figure this out, sometimes get a couple a day, most I think was like 40-50 once. Sometimes they go quickly and sometimes the muffled hearing/spike lasts for hours or days and gets reactive and louder and distorted to all sounds. Very confusing. I do wonder why. I have tons of other ear issues also but this one is the one thing I can’t understand :/

People are more likely to get it from Covid honestly.

Even on internet tinnitus forums people are like "you can't get permanent T from one single dose of azithromycin" but here I am. Shocks me how everyone on the ureaplasma reddit seem to be drinking azithromycin like water 7 days a week

The question could be is if further noise is damaging your ears or damaging your tinnitus?
