    Hey, I wondered how your pain levels are now? Did you go on the trip you mentioned?

    Hello :) I did end up going on the trip! Had pain most of the way there but when I got there and saw the ocean it was so calming. I definitely still had pain off and on during the trip but I was able to enjoy being outside and doing something every day! The pain part actually went away for a good week or 2 and that was nice but unfortunately came back this morning.

    That's amazing, I'm happy for you! Maybe feeling relaxed and happy contributed to the pain easing off for a while? It's good to know it can go at least

    Hi Alishia, How are you doing now? I am going through a very similar thing with pain Hyperacusis. Wanted to know how did you approach this? Are you protecting all the time or not? Please let me know. Wishing you continued recovery.
