Sorry, I haven't logged in in a while. Mine improved, but it took several months, and never went away. I still have good days and bad days, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was at the beginning. I'm sorry to hear about your dad.

    Tinnitus from Wellbutrin

Hi @Midoki1986 I'm sorry to hear about the onset of your tinnitus. I'd say there's a pretty good chance that Wellbutrin ignited your tinnitus. Your history sounds a good bit like mine, rock shows, allergies, occasional brief episodes of tinnitus, that went away. I can't speak to whether it...

    Tinnitus from Wellbutrin

@JohnDoe2020 I was on 150mg for a month and then 300mg for a couple of days. My doc told me that I could get off of it cold-turkey and I'd be okay. I'd recommend that you talk to your doc before making any decision like that, but that was my experience.

@cls That's great that you've had that type of improvement. I think at 6.5 months you're still pretty early in, so there's a good chance you'll see more improvement. I think mine came more gradually than yours. I notice that when I sleep on my back with my neck supported, my tinnitus is...

Hi @cls I'm not really moving on, just not updating this thread unless someone has a question. I'm in my mid 40s, so when I was a kid, we had cathode ray tube televisions ... the big clunky ones with the convex screens (computer monitors as well). When you turned them on, or powered them...

Wellbutrin Set Tinnitus Off — Learning to Move Forward and Live My Life (as a Music Lover)

During the first year or so I had spikes that lasted a about 1 or 2 weeks at a time, but they mostly centered around having a cold or some other type of respiratory illness. Right now, my tinnitus feels a little louder than it's been in a while, but it's nowhere near as loud as it was at the...

I did research on Wellbutrin prior to taking it as well, and tinnitus never came up as a big side effect. I think you did everything you could do. There's nothing wrong with taking medicine for depression. It's pretty common. I have three friends who are taking or have taken Wellbutrin in...

@Shaz1 I'm really sorry to hear about your struggles with Wellbutrin induced tinnitus. I'm probably about 10 years older than you, but I think we have similar histories in terms of noise exposure (slight hearing loss in the upper ranges, etc.) Everyone is different, and this is just...
