Lately I’ve noticed that my ears feel clogged, and sensitive to noises when I eat a large amount of cheese.. Does anyone get this??

@Sam98 it got a lot better! Most days I don’t notice it, but whenever I do notice my H, it’s not as bad as it used to be

@dpdx stop telling people that it can not go away. There’s a people on this forum that’s had their H go away. No need to bring others down, just cause yours hasn’t gone away.

@DaveH okay! Atleast it’s improving for you! Next month will mark a year since I got H... Its hard to tell if I’m getting better though. There’s days and weeks where I don’t feel my H at all, then there’s days where it kicks my ass. I wish I could know what makes me feel better.

@PDodge he’s been signed on plenty of times and he’s not confirming anything. The least he could do is confirm, and to tell us he can’t talk about it. He knows what is like to live with T, why is he doing this to us? @kelpiemsp

Does anybody know why we have good and bad days with hyperacusis? There’s days when I don’t notice my hyperacusis at all, then there’s days when it’s real painful.

Has anyone had any hyperacusis or TTTS relief from massage therapy? I believe that my hyperacusis is caused by neck being misaligned, and neck and ear muscles being inflamed.

@Lex im sure you’ll be good. Like I said, I was afraid that my T&H would spike but everything turned out fine.

Hi @Lex. I got on 3 different planes this past August, and my H did not spike one bit. I was afraid as well but I did just fine. Just try not to freak out and just relax and enjoy the flight.

@Tony Phylactou I believe my T and H is stress and anxiety related. When I get stressed out I tend to Clench my jaw when I sleep and even when I’m awake. By me overworking my jaw muscles, causes my H to get bad, and I also get headaches and facial pain when this happens. When I’m not stressed...

@Tony Phylactou I got lucky and didn’t feel a thing on the plane. I guess my hyperacusis isn’t as severe, but it still bugs me. I have noticed that it’s getting better with time.. I believe I read that your hyperacusis went away, correct?

@Kara77 did you have to wear the splint during the day? My dentist ordered me a mouth guard because I clench my jaw as well. Hopefully it works for me. I heard it works wonders

@Bill Bauer true, but I’ve also read a lot of stories of people that travel for a living and never had a problem or spikes. I hoped on 3 flights this past week and I did not get a spike.

My H must be real mild since, I used no protection on the plane. My H only bothered me like twice since I’ve been on vacation. Maybe that’s a good sign??
