    Day 8 on Zoloft 25 mg, my tinnitus is definitely more intense on Zoloft, I am hopefully it will eventually calm down. Zoloft really helped me before tinnitus so I am going to try and tuff this out. Day 8 was tuff!

    Today is day 5 on Zoloft 25 mg, I will keep going regardless, I made it through day 4 and I really need to get back on this medication. It may flareup things for a while but if I can get through them I am hopeful the end reward will be worth it.

    Yeap, I have tried omega 3 on three separate occasions, all three times it caused a spike, they likely do increase serotonin levels which is why they help with mood, serotonin seems to cause mine to spike, but thats just my experience.

    Remeron really made my H worse, it was very surreal about how much it turned the volume up, it took about 2 weeks for it to really turn it up, but it was almost overnight once it kicked it, couldn't even stand to shower it was too loud. It came back to normal after I got off though.

    I am contemplating trying it for anxiety, maybe start at 25mg three times daily and work my way up if tolerated. I have read that is is approved in Europe for treatment of anxiety, and I thought it would be a better long term med than klonopin. Might help me get off klonopin hopefully.

    I was down to 1/4 of of klonopin 0.5mg daily for almost a month, had been on that for almost a month, now back up to 1/2 pill, this stuff is tuff to get off, I have tried going a day with out and the second day I start to feel it. If I just bear down and take it will it subside eventually?

    Yes, it usually does return to baseline after discontinuation. If you feel like you are on the verge of cracking then it might be worth a try.

    I have been on clonazepam for about 6 months. I am trying to taper off clonazepam, I am currently down to 0.125mg daily, have been on that dose for several weeks, I tried going a day without this and did fine for one day, but the next day started feeling it. Benzos are hell to get off.

    Remeron does help me sleep thats for sure, I am not able to take more than 7.5mg, the 15mg dosage makes my hyperacusis much, much worse. It is does cause some significant fatigue in the beginning.

    I do notice the NAC has a calming affect shortly after I take it, and T calms down for a bit, but then goes back up, been on 600mg daily for going on a week.

    I agree, this is hopeful, all it takes is for one drug to hit the market, then a lots will follow, look how many antidepressants there are now, a certain drug may not work for one person, but if there are a lot of options then one can usually find one that works for you. This is hopeful.

    Yes, I don't take naps anymore, my T gets much worse even after a short nap. It is better after a good sleep, but unfortunately with T that doesn't happen often. The viscous cycle. sleep makes T better, but it is the one thing is prevents a lot of us from getting.
