Are My Symptoms TMJ Related? Crackling When Yawning / Swallowing / Ear Fullness

@Greg Sacramento Hi, I recently saw your post where you knew someone who had tinnitus very bad, and talked through PM and now she doesn’t have tinnitus anymore. Was hers also from TMJ and what were her symptoms? I am curious because I still have my tinnitus that I believe is from TMJ also.

What Should My Next Move Be (Use a Night Guard, Dentist, ENT, or Just Wait)?

I knew I had TMJ for 2 years. I never thought anything of it. I thought it just was that my jaw cracked. And while in school I had this habit of chewing gum everyday, I did that 6 hours a day for 3 months. Last June I got a really bad cold, and then an ear infection. The day after the ear...

How Do You Know If Tinnitus Is from TMJ?

What are some signs that the tinnitus may be from TMJ? I don’t suspect hearing or nerve damage is the problem because there is no reason for that considering I am still very young (13) but certain movements with my mouth and neck make different tones and maybe that means it is also muscle...

@Elmer B Fuddled hi sorry I have another question but when you got t did you notice your swallowing more and it seemed louder and sometimes sounded like your ears popped? Idk if this is just because the t makes us more aware or maybe it’s something to do with my tmj but I’m just wondering :)

Are My Symptoms TMJ Related? Crackling When Yawning / Swallowing / Ear Fullness

Can TMJ cause my ears to make a crackling noise when I yawn and swallow? Also when I was lying down I moved my jaw and out of nowhere my ear had a fullness feeling and I had a really bad high pitched ringing for 5 minutes. Does that also sound TMJ related?

No Hearing Loss or Physical Damage to the Ear — A Better Chance for My Tinnitus Going Away?

It started 2 months ago after a cold and ear infection. I was also very stressed around that time because of exams. But turns out I have tmj and I am starting to treat that. I am hoping the tinnitus will fade away with time considering I am only 13 and don’t listen to loud music, go to clubs...

No Hearing Loss or Physical Damage to the Ear — A Better Chance for My Tinnitus Going Away?

Since I do not have hearing loss or any physical damage to my ear (I did visit an ENT and took some tests to make sure), is there a better chance of my tinnitus going away? I also have TMJ and muscle tension so is there a really good chance once I get this settled down the tinnitus will fade...

Hi. I’m new around here and my tinnitus started about a month ago. It started after an ear infection and I got really nervous about it being permanent (thanks google) but I got some antibiotics for the infection and it went away, but the tinnitus was still there. So I made an appointment...
