Hearing Confusing Clicking, Anyone Else Have This?

I recently have been "diagnosed" with middle ear myoclonus, then with palatial myoclonus (even if they can't see the back of my throat moving). I say diagnosed tentatively because no one has been able to prove it yet, I'm still waiting for an MRI image to see if anything is structurally wrong...

Is It Possible to Habituate to Somatic Tinnitus and Pulsatile Tinnitus?

I'd like to know this as well. Seeing as no one responded I'm guessing it's rare. I will say this though, I've had this weird clicking for about 6 months now and for at least one or two it didn't bother me. I could still hear it but I didn't react. I don't know what made it worse again but I'm...

I Need a Good ENT in Midwest, US (Urgent!)

I've been diagnosed with middle ear myoclonus, but I suspect I have Eustachian tube issues as well. This has been going on for roughly 6 months. The ENT who diagnosed me with it never even scoped me, and while they did a tympanogram that came back normal you can still have Eustachian Tube...

Confusing Symptoms, Tensor Tympani? (I Had Bad Tinnitus Last Year)

I had a weird feeling in my throat a few days before it happened, like an irritated bump at the back, where you would get post nasal drip (I wasn't). I still have a very itchy throat at the soft pallet. Idk if it's related. It very well could be allergies but I've never had them before. I don't...

Confusing Symptoms, Tensor Tympani? (I Had Bad Tinnitus Last Year)

Thanks for the reply. Weird, I don't recall listening to any loud music or anything like that. It's just that the clicks normally regulated to one ear for my whole life seem to have jumped over. Do you think that stress could play a part in this?

Confusing Symptoms, Tensor Tympani? (I Had Bad Tinnitus Last Year)

Anyone? You don't have to answer the questions, even a comparison of symptoms would be helpful. I can't sleep because of this.

Confusing Symptoms, Tensor Tympani? (I Had Bad Tinnitus Last Year)

Hey everyone, please bear with me the post is sorta long. I'm not a stranger to tinnitus, I'm pretty sure I've had it all my life but I've adapted more or less. I had a spike last year around the same time along with hyperacusis that eventually resolved (had a lot of acupuncture). Well, I have...
