    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

I'm from Australia. Xanax isn't banned but it is restricted. My doctor will prescribe it but I only use it occasionally for sleep.

@Strawberryblonde, so happy to hear you’re doing better. Fingers crossed that it continues. My...

...bad right now. I usually get it every 2 days. The anxiety of waiting for it to happen is worse I think than when it happens. I’ve also developed an eye twitch on that side as well. Trying to massage my jaws fir TMJ. I also take a small dose of clonazepam and I think that that helps with the MEM

Antidepressants (SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOs, TCAs, TeCAs)

Amitriptyline and Cyclobenzaprine are both in the tricyclic class so it's a good, but expected spot by your MD. Are you still on 1.5 mg Clonazepam/day? Please do post back in the Cyclobenzaprine thread either way.

Pimozide for COVID-19 Induced Tinnitus — Jupiter Wellness

Wow, that's interesting. Thanks for sharing with the community. That's a big jump from 0.5 mg to 2 mg. Do you get any side effects? It worried me how Dr. De Ridder said I must take Clonazepam with just one Deanxit to prevent tardive dyskinesia.

Worse Tinnitus After Klonopin (Clonazepam) Taper

May God have mercy on my soul. About to begin a taper after 3 months of benzos - about 1 mg a day of Clonazepam for the last month and about 1 mg of Ativan for the previous two months. I feel so screwed.

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

...it doesn't help getting mixed messages. Although I think it's individual, so I wouldn't worry. There are members on here that have taken Clonazepam daily for 6-7 years and it's substantially useful to them. I have noticed they take it 'at the same time' as Gabapentin, so there may be a...

Treble Health: Exploitation of Tinnitus Sufferers

Thanks for that useful story. I think you have reached correct conclusions. I would only say that if you are asking someone what their tinnitus sounds like because you want to know if it is like yours - it is best not to give them the answer. Let them describe - then compare your experience. I...

Xenon Pharmaceuticals' XEN1101 — Kv7 Potassium Channel Modulator

I'm currently treated by an anesthetist who also specializes in tinnitus. He prescribed me Clonazepam for one week to see how it goes. Gabapentin is definitely on the table for me (maybe in combination with my remaining Flupirtine pills or CBD isolate) if he allows me to take it, but at the...

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

My tinnitus has been stable for the last 2 years, thank God. Since then I have weened off Gabapentin and am just on Clonazepam. My tinnitus is unilateral; in the left ear only. It's been almost 10 years since I got tinnitus and I'm finally at the stage where I can say for the most part I can...

Tinnitus at New Heights: Clonazepam Withdrawal Combined with Slap on the Ear

Thanks for the info, I quoted someone else though, @twa, asking her about what she described.

Abraham Shulman Tinnitus Protocol (Clonazepam Plus Gabapentin)

This is not necessary an answer to your question, but I've been on Clonazepam for 3 years now (0.3 mg at first, 0.7 mg now) and while my tinnitus was mild back then, it's now a terrible nightmare of multiple tones including a loud low hum, an unmaskable static and 2 high pitched pure tones. I...

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

...than 2 years. Tapered slowly to 0 once but had to reinstate. My hearing and tinnitus are both worsening but it's hard to say whether it's Clonazepam. We have forum members who lost hearing and got tinnitus when quitting cold turkey. However, all the research I found says Clonazepam should...

Treble Health: Exploitation of Tinnitus Sufferers

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. Personally Clonazepam has been more helpful to me than any sort of behavioral intervention — I often feel like I’m too good at argumentation to not deconstruct the “conventional wisdom” of CBT/TRT. I’m aware of the risk of dependency; I think I manage my...

A Setback with My Low-Frequency Drone Triggered by an Idling Car

...had no reactions so I didn’t move. Stupid, stupid me :( I should know better after 12 years of pure hell! Twice so far I tried high dose Clonazepam and Gabapentin - which in the past always calmed it down - but not this time. I’m back to square one if not worse since the drugs are no longer...
