    Requires a very knowledgeable audiologist familiar w/ reactive T/H to program them appropriately that will not worsen you. Can be helpful for hearing-loss and NON-reactive T. They may, can worsen the symptoms.

    Sounds like you may have merines which could be causing dizzyness. Medication for that should help. Have you seen an ent yet? If you can mask your T then that is a bonus to. I have servere T which means I can never mask it as its reactive and even if I tried it would make my H worse.

    If your T, pulsating T or one of your other sounds goes up from blood pressure caused by anger, exercise, etc., is that Reactive T? If you yell or raise your own voice and your T goes up, is that Reactive T? Is Reactive T a good sign versus non? Thx!

    @snizzleberry I barely have since my hell started two years ago, just was always careful of surroundings and sound exposure as much as I could be. With reactive T and very sensitive ear canals, it’s hard to get the benefits of earplugs without also dealing with irritation and exacerbation.
