I’ve developed distortion/ringing in my right ear every time I talk or when I hear other voices. I can’t tell if it’s reactive T or hyperacusis. Either way, it’s so annoying.

Since last November, I've been having more and longer periods where my T is predominantly a hiss. Although it's also reactive, the intensity of neck and jaw pain I have is directly related to the loudness and nature of my T.

My distortions are gone sadly reactive t started and noxacusis (ear pain) hopefully i improve pray for me <3

My T is getting more and more high pitched, my reactive T aswell, but the volume of the reactive T has gone down. From 3/10 to 1-1.5/10.

What is reactive tinnitus? How long does it take to settle down with reactive T? What is difference between reactive T and H?

If your T, pulsating T or one of your other sounds goes up from blood pressure caused by anger, exercise, etc., is that Reactive T? If you yell or raise your own voice and your T goes up, is that Reactive T? Is Reactive T a good sign versus non? Thx!

I read that people get reactive t at the beginning but I'm 4 years in and now have reactive hissing. Any clue what would be the cause of this sudden change? Is this likely to get better (it hadn't for the past 3 months)? Having t is bad but this is another beast:(

TTTS, aural fullness and reactive T makes it impossible to habituate. I can somehow deal with the normal T and H, but this is too much.

Just a bit of talking is getting troublesome. This reactive hissing T is NOT in the brain. Tonal T, like I have plenty too, is in the brain.

Nice Saturday outside. Woke up with my mild reactive T to my AC outside my room. Still slept pretty good though. H is very mild.

Well a positive if there is one to pull from this... The distortion or sound when I speak has gone away about 95%. T is still more reactive and piercing than before and its been humming in silence like crazy (that is an ongoing off and on thing), hopefully that's temporary as well... only time...

48+ hours of the calmest, quietest, least reactive T since November 2020. This is at about 3.5 years.

Woke up and it’s quiet. I slept without a fan or masker for the first time since this started. My T must be really reactive to the fan.

Reactive T settled down quite a bit. But TTTS and ear fullness are getting worse. My ears just feel fried 90% of the day.
