Yeah the COVID-19 vaccine worsened his tinnitus. Klonopin (Clonazepam) taper caused the nasty tones. He said he was somewhat doing better before the Klonopin too. He was allowing time to heal, kept getting worse and acquiring new tones. After having a small better period he got a helicopter tone...

Gabapentin doesn’t do anything for me either. Haven’t tried cyclobenzaprine. Intermittent Tinnitus and Taking Clonazepam to Prevent a Loud Tinnitus Day?

I take Gabapentin 2-3 times per day. I take Deanxit with Clonazepam as per Dr. De Ridder. It's to 'break up the tinnitus network' as single medications only do so much. There are a bunch of different neurotransmitters. Most important part of Deanxit is Flupentixol.

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

@IntotheBlue03, Diazepam has a longer half-life than Clonazepam. Because of this, it can be great for sleep. For me, it does have an effect on my fatigue, so I end up sleeping too much - it works. Clonazepam seems to be the most widely used for tinnitus, but there do seem to be some horror...
