Ear Fullness Gradually Progressing as the Day Goes on / Certain Activities Make It Worse

I have this and it’s caused by my jaw. Mild in the morning and usually dire by the time bedtime comes around. For me it’s a combination of my jaw pressing onto my Eustachian tubes and ear itself. My lower jaw is too far back, slightly more on one side than the other.

@Rockman, sorry I didn’t see your response! I’ve had migraines for almost 20 years and the occipital ones are something else. I hope you find relief, I think the cause of mine is my c1 misalignment.

My Tinnitus Is Definitely Caused by Something in My Neck — Maybe the Scalene Muscles?

I’m not a doctor, but I think you’d be surprised. Meniere’s disease is a prime example of a symptomatic inner ear condition that’s successfully being treated for many people through upper cervical chiropractic manipulation.

My Tinnitus Is Definitely Caused by Something in My Neck — Maybe the Scalene Muscles?

@Greg Sacramento, have you written anything about one pupil being smaller than the other on the affected side? I have suffered with this since being a teen but it’s become more noticeable over the years. Could you please also share the neck and posture info with me? Many thanks.

My Tinnitus Is Definitely Caused by Something in My Neck — Maybe the Scalene Muscles?

I think I have narrowed the cause of my tinnitus down to cervical instability and all of what you said above rings true. I started stretching the muscles thinking the problem was tension and this just made all my symptoms worse, especially tinnitus which went from a volume of 40 to about 120...

My Tinnitus Is Definitely Caused by Something in My Neck — Maybe the Scalene Muscles?

Thanks for responding. Did it help with your tinnitus at all? Or just other symptoms? I’m nearly a year into this painful process and it’s only getting harder.

Tinnitus, Ear Pressure, Muffled Ear, Dizziness, Vertigo — I Can't Carry on Like This

Thanks guys, it’s been tough. I’m pretty sure most of my problems are caused by my upper neck. I have a C1 misalignment on my left side and severe neck tension of my left SCM muscle. A physical therapist is working on relaxing my neck muscles with laser therapy and trigger point therapy. I was...

Tinnitus, Ear Pressure, Muffled Ear, Dizziness, Vertigo — I Can't Carry on Like This

It’s been almost 1 year since my tinnitus started and I am still struggling massively. I don’t know what caused my tinnitus, possibly damage to my ear or a vascular problem. It’s incredibly loud and changes every day. I can’t go a single second without thinking about it and I can’t believe...

Shower Causing a Temporary Tinnitus Spike?

Another person reviving and old thread. Sorry guys! Mine T also spikes after a hot/warm shower. The weird thing is, if I shower in the morning when my T is quieter, it will not spike at all after. But it always does is the evening. Because of that I think it’s the inflammation of ETD that spikes...

Can Pressing on the Tragus Cause Damage?

Hello everyone, I have something similar. My doctor once told me to push on my tragus gently to itch my ears. Anyway I pushed a little to hard and I have now had tinnitus for 3+ months. Can you please tell me if yours went away and how long did you wait? Thanks.
