My T is down to low tones... sometimes they spike high... I had all the tests done, no hearing loss, they said they didnt understand why my ears were doing what they were doing and gave up on me... the infection had cleared, still mega ringing... Over the span of nine months the sounds began to...

My T got quieter as the weeks went on... I suffered for months. But learned to talk myself off the edge. When i speak of Mind over matter... the matter is the T and you control your mind... im not saying you can make it go away into some abyss of the mind, im saying we have to controk our minds...

Mmm... It got quieter... so compared to the SUPER LOUD sound i was experiancing in the beginning... what i hear off and on now, i can breath and not panic so bad...

I have my moments. Sometimes i still get loud ringing and it worries me, almost to a point of panic... but i talk to myself, Its gonna go, its gotta go, breath... the more aggitated and worked up a person get definitely makes T worse... Positivity is Key.

As i said... its not 100% gone. My T went in a year from being unbearable to week by week improvement... I still hear noises and have spikes at times... certian sounds i have to run from if i dont have ear plugs or protection... But ive been taught to claim whats not there... Im at 85% better at...

By me saying "mind over matter" i wasnt putting tinnitus in a category of "its not that bad"... because IT IS BAD... I was saying Talk to yourself, the matter is the T, but your mind is YOURS... so whatever you gotta do to get through it without killing yourself, DO IT!

Hey Buddy... The way I describe the noise I heard would have been standing in front of a grenade and allowing it to explode... 9 months of that none stop... I didn't really go super deep into... There were some nights I would be in a ball curled up in the corner of my bathroom trying my best...

I dont see how a "spike" lasting more than a month could be eternal, considering you had 10 years without T... We all have spikes and moments; but its better to play positively through the sounds rather than negativity....:)

I still have my moments :) certain everyday noises really bother me at times... Considering the struggle i was in a year ago... this isnt all that bad :D

1 year after experiencing horrible ringing in both ears. Today, HEALED. J-E-S-U-S and Pushing through is the answer!

Suicide is NOT the answer! Turn the volume down significantly on the music... This will lessen the chance of the ringing substantially! I dealt with non stop ringing for almost a year because of loud sounds... now i know to protect my ears! Our ears werent designed for the power of todays...

Dont use meds that are NSAIDS! Keep pushing! I know its hard, but it CAN get better!
