No, because it is no long-time solution. How much Doxylamine do you take and it helps sleeping? For me, even if I sleep, the piercing noise is waking me up. And then, I cannot fall asleep again. So I sleep 1 hour per night.- Armin

Yes, I am afraid there are none. Mirtazapine or Amitriptyline or Doxylamine would be the options. But that is nothing to take long-term. And the plants (Valerian, Hop) do not work either... it is terrible- Armin

Now, it is so incredibly loud, that I cannot mask, I hear it 24/7. I cannot develop a neutral feeling to it. So I only have the VAD as an (bad) option. I am so tortured by it. It is terrible. No sleep, no relaxation in the day. I am completely broken- Armin

I got it in 2011, it made me mad. But compared to today, it was really mild. I really experienced habituation. I did not hear it anymore after 2,5 years. The trick was 100% masking for sleep (not this mixing point TRT theory). And 100% masking in the office.- Armin
