Interesting that the audiologist suggested white noise. I would have thought that was more important for tinnitus caused by acoustic trauma. Did the audiologist mention anything significant regarding the fact that your cause was medication?

An update. It's been about two months and a week since I posted this thread. Today is the worst day for tinnitus that I have had in about 3-4 weeks. Even at that, things are still progressing, however slowly, in the right direction. I find that the noises in my head tend to reduce in scope...

I feel the same. Looking at your posts over the last few days, it's like you're in my head. BTW, while you're in there could you take the tinnitus out before you leave? If only it were so simple. Hoping that today is a better day for you.

From everything I have read (and at the beginning I did a ton of research and doom-scrolling) it should go back to baseline. The big question is always how long it will take. The consensus is that everyone is different.
