I get huge relief from oxazepam 15 mg, due to it working against anxiety and it is a muscle relaxant. It's the muscle relaxant part that really lowers my tinnitus. Combined with 2 mg of melatonin i have managed to turn my life from a complete chaos into something more bearable.

I had no tinnitus at all before my neck injury. To answer your question in your first post, yes, somatic tinnitus is definitely an independent form of tinnitus.
