Just keeping my fingers crossed it’s not a Levo or Desyncra and becomes recognised as the ‘gold standard’ treatment for tinnitus. May be a bit far fetched but that’s what I’m hoping for.

I wonder how much it costs? I looked into the Levo System awhile back and it was priced over $5,000, not something I can afford, and not covered by insurance.

The Levo system isn't doing anything to reduce the volume of tinnitus it just tries to detatch the emotional brains response through habituation.

Another tinnitus business casualty.... nothing works as we all know. It seems that time is up for these companies trying to sell MP3 players with customized sounds for many thousands of dollars. Is Otoharmonics (Levo system) next?

Done lots of research for months on things like this and have not found any independent review that these things work just like the Levo system, ACRN. I would hang tight till a real treatment comes about.

The Levo tones piped into your ear are modulated, whatever that means. They're not straight masking sounds.

I am starting Levo systems on June 22 2017 for a thirty days trail, cost $4000, if succeed, if not only $200. the ringing is like tea pot going for in my head, so I will keep everybody if it work.

Does anyone have any recent experience with the Levo Tinnitus Treatment program? There have been many recent news stories but not sure how effective the program is. Would like to hear from anyone that used the program whether the outcome was favorabe of unfavorable.

I suggest avoiding the Levo iOS app for now. I was in the process of removing apps from my iPod and installing equivalent apps on my Android when I opened the Levo app and discovered I can't do anything with it. When I tap the "Sleep" or "Awake" buttons I am told "There is no therapy loaded...

The Levo System is that thing you listen to when you sleep, right? I wonder if there's some truth to it considering my tonal tinnitus vanishes for a bit when I hear a 4khz tone. :confused: I'm too scared to even think about trying it though with my hyperacusis.

Sorry to hear it did not work for you. According to the tinnitusclinic.co.uk tour t frequency must be between 200-8000khz for it to work. Have you tried notched Music Therapy or the Levo system? Did you make the ACRN yourself or did you go to a clinic?

Yea, it's some types of music and voice frequencies that I would be careful with headphones, and many who used the voice communicator type headphones like the workers at McDonalds get hearing loss from them.

I was going to do Levo but decided to wait for Neuromod as I had some persona success and failur with home made devices. On a side note: My audiologist said he had about 10 people on it and people are reqorting a significant reduction in intensity/sound. I didn’t go too much into it though.

The entire premise of this sound therapy is flawed. They use semantics to confuse us. They are saying the noise fades into the background. The background of what? Your conciousness? Is that even true?

Jon, Do you have any additional updates on the Levo? Sounds like they really were not ready for prime time, and have some serious obstacles to overcome. Patients should not be inconvenienced like this especially for this kind of money they charge. You should have control over the frequency if...

They wanted to test for blood flow issues, kinked arteries and other blood vessel issues. Everything came back clear. My Levo appointment was rescheduled for OCT. My audiologist does NOT want to just sell me something without exhausting other potential causes first.

Right... As far as I know there still isn’t anything else except for Lenire? But even with that it sounds like you can’t just do it for a while and quite, it’s something you need to stay on, not entirely sure since it’s relatively new as well.

@InfiniteLoop, the Levo specs state that they use amongst other sounds, amplitude modulated sounds based on your tinnitus frequency. How do you get this effect on domestic equipment or do you need special devices? And if using this protocol at night is for convenience sake, do you think notch...

I'm not sure they just focus on that. It's not clear what the main program is, but their FDA filing specifies "amplitude modulated tinnitus pitch matched tones, narrow-band noise centered at the tinnitus frequency, and broad-band noise."
