Hi @kaylarose43 I too have pulsatile T which increases when I press my carotid artery. In my other ear I have regular high pitched tone T which doesn't bother me. But, PT is like a thumping noise or gets very rapid in the evenings like a fan motor with ribbons on them...so difficult to avoid...

Exactly another doctor thought if was an infection, and one jus said give it time it will go away. Also I was never exposed to any acoustic trauma or accidents to my head and neck, it started out of the blue after a party where I had too much to drink and there was no music there.

@GregCA yeah I agree and many doctors don't spend enough time to understand what you are going through. Making assumptions is then a common mistake. I am still not very happy that I have few symptoms but I am not sure what else I can do about it!
