Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Did you go for Lenire? What results have you had, if any? I have it available near me, but the $4950 cost is a little much of a chance to take. I was ready to jump on the bandwagon, but I hesitated because of all the negative reports I have read on Tinnitus Talk.

Eight Years of Tinnitus — My Life Is 100% Normal Now

Sorry to hear your tinnitus continued to worsen. I know the feeling. I recommend reading the Lenire reviews on Tinnitus Talk. It's a habituation device that doesn't look promising for reducing tinnitus volume. The Auricle / Dr. Shore device has a better chance of lowering tinnitus, although...

New University of Michigan Tinnitus Discovery — Signal Timing

There are several concerning reviews of Lenire on Tinnitus Talk of it making tinnitus worse for people. I'm surprised that these sort of results did not show up in the trial results. It also makes me concerned about any other treatments like the Michigan Tinnitus Device that's coming out and...

It's interesting to note that the "tools" or approaches available can be classified as 1) sound therapy, e.g., Lenire, Auricle, Jastreboff, Tomatis, 2) stimulation, e.g., Lenire, Auricle, and 3) pharmaceuticals, e.g., Alprazolam, Lidocaine, Retigabine. Surgery seems to be dropped -- maybe with...

Dr. Shore wouldn't or couldn't provide a price for the Auricle device, but Lenire is closer to $4K, so Auricle may be that much or more. We could have a lot of time to save up before it's widely available, though.

Lenire seems to be exploding in name recognition and popularity, and I'm starting to question whether the minuscule sample size we have here—from two years ago—is breeding unwarranted skepticism. Don't get me wrong; I'm still afraid to try it, but thousands of people have now. I just want to...

I think that Dr. Shore's trials were really well run especially when we compare them to the Lenire trials. I think there's almost no chance of FDA asking for another trial, because she was really meticulous. But you're right, who knows? No one has a crystal ball to predict the future.

Thank you but I highly doubt that. The tones the device plays are very quiet; about 5-10 decibels. By comparison a whisper is 30 decibels. In other words, the sounds that the device uses are about as loud as your own breathing. So I'm finding it hard to believe something like that alone could...

I still do not get the premise behind Lenire. It sounds like a bunch of nonsense. Is it supposed to make everything louder so tinnitus is "drowned" better? That sounds like inducing hyperacusis and makes no sense whatsoever. At least the premise behind Dr. Shore's device makes sense.

Lenire doesn’t work. Save your money for Dr. Shore’s device.
