I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Yeah, I just found out that listening to it once or twice during the day gets rid of my hiss for the whole day as well. There is a weird sensation in my ears when I listen to it during the day, best way I can describe it is like pressure lifting from my ears. I gave the Koss headphones a try...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Yeah I wasn't serious about blasting my ears, I was more or less referring to headphone usage within normal volume range. So let's say FX-322 works and can be used more than once. I don't see any reason why someone wouldn't be able to use headphones unless there are other things at play like the...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

I don't know, that's just how I am. I really don't want to have another experience with tinnitus but I miss my headphones so much. The immersion, the clarity and the places I went while listening to music through them. I wonder If hair cell regeneration is safe and comes to market "soon", will...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

I'm in the same boat. I can hear a super low faint hiss today in my right ear - RIP SUCCESS STORY. The sound is audible only after plugging both my ears for a while in a dead silent room. I don't even know if I had that before my ringing tinnitus. Thought I'd be great now that my tinnitus is...

Anybody Feel They Can’t Stop Looking for Their Tinnitus?

My tinnitus is pretty much gone but I'm still checking and looking for it lol. Not as much as i used to though. Even when I had it if I could find something to keep me occupied or I was with friends my mind would be like "wow 3 hours have passed and you didn't check your tinnitus at all".

    My Tinnitus Is Gone!

Yeah, what it did for me is amazing and I believe people should actually give it a try and experiment with it a bit to see if it works for them.

Damn, I really want to go back to headphones for listening to music but well horror stories got to me lol.

    My Tinnitus Is Gone!

I said I'd stay away but I couldn't - just wanted to share my story with you even if it's only 2 days now that I have been tinnitus free. LONG POST INCOMING (probably going to be all over the place): My first onset of tinnitus was 2 months ago. I was going through the worst cold of my life...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Woke up today without ringing at all but had a random morse code in my right ear that stopped after a 20-30 minutes. No tinnitus pretty much since then lol, feels kind of weird to be honest. Going to keep listening to it daily for the next 3 weeks and then cut down to 2-3 times per week as...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Slept with Tinnitus Mix for like 8-9 hours or at least I tried. Woke up like 10 times adjusting the volume. I was wrong about the sound being pleasant after a while, sleeping with it is hard for now. Hard enough to make me clench my jaw while sleeping and finding myself with some pain in the...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

OK, my tinnitus is back after 3 hours of being pretty much gone (felt like there was a filter/wall and tinnitus was behind it). Not sure if it's the same as before or lower in volume. Right ear feels kind of weird, warm on the inside and tingly at times. Maybe I'm just imagining everything, who...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

First of all I want to say that since getting tinnitus I'm kind of paranoid toward sound therapies with weird sounds and stuff like that but I decided to give Tinnitus Mix a go after reading most of the posts made here. After listening to this ''screeching'' Tinnitus Mix (actually reminded me a...

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

I'm back with another update. I decided not to check my tinnitus for the past 5 days, I did forget at times about it all together. Today I decided to check on it, it was the ringing sound but what I've noticed is that the sound became slower or lower pitched? I don't really know. The only way...

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

I've been reading the forum for the past 2 days and I feel like it has made my tinnitus louder or me more aware of it. I'm going to take another break from here and stop checking for my tinnitus by plugging my ears and see how it affects me and my tinnitus. Until then I wish you all the best.

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

Will certainly do so. Lately I've noticed my ears ache a bit when I'm in the quiet too long and I'm not focusing on anything. Could that be caused by my anxiety? Another thing I started doing when something is making me anxious is that I pop my ears by moving my jaw muscles a bit unconsciously lol.

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

An update on my situation. 6 weeks with tinnitus and I'm doing much better nowadays. I've started taking vitamin D (heavy deficiency) and curcumin. I'm also sleeping without background noise at night starting about a week ago. I don't know exactly what helped but every morning since I...

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

I had a very good day, barely any tinnitus at all even in places that I was able to hear it I didn't. No tinnitus at all in left ear, in the right ear in quiet places kind of a hissing instead of ringing. I can notice ringing only if I plug both my ears in a very quiet place. Guess I have to...

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

A bit of a positive update. I was with a friend playing some video games and I had completely forgotten about my tinnitus, I decided to check after about 5-6 hours and there was minimal to no tinnitus, even with both my ears plugged my tinnitus was barely audible (left ear actually 0 and right...

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

I have no issues with loud noise and yes I watch tv and stuff normally inside my house. I noticed today though that I get ear pain after I'm done eating food, especially if it requires a lot of chewing so I think my jaw joint might have something to do with it.

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

Thank you very much, I've read most of the thread you linked and the links there before I even signed up and it was a big help to me. As far as hurting my ears I've ordered earplugs and I'm using my in ear buds without music that do an ok job canceling most of the noise for now. So all there is...

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

Yeah I've had it pretty bad with anxiety and depression for the past 5-6 years. Most of it coming from me being stale as in doing nothing at all over those years other than school etc. Funnily enough I had another issue (psychosomatic) bothering me for almost 3 years before my tinnitus that...

Hello Everyone. This Is My Tinnitus Story — Anxiety Plays a Big Role

I'd like to start and say hello and thank you for this wonderful community. A little bit about me, I'm 21, depressed and a very anxious person (hurray). This all started around around 1 month ago, 15-16th of September to be more precise. I was having a very bad cold during this time, with lots...
