    Loud Tinnitus for Two Years

@Sisu, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Could you maybe give us some more background information? Have you taken any medications that could be responsible for your increase? Do you have hearing loss? I believe H can mess with T, causing it to spike from everyday sounds. If your H fades...

    Is Tinnitus Becoming More Common?

When I got T I wrote to almost all of my friends who are musicians/likes to go to raves - 2/3 of them told me they have T themselves. They do not suffer and told me it gets better. Most of them use hearing protection now.

    Hi Everyone

@Herlinde, Hi and Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about your second round with T. I'm sure it will get better for you, just be careful around loud sounds and use earplugs when necessary. How loud was your T when you first had it? It's very hopeful that it finally went away, maybe it will...

Chime Sounds When Turning Head Side to Side

@Vinnitus, Thanks for explaining your theory. I need to really shake my head aggressively in order to hear it (not a natural movement so there's really no point for me to keep doing it). I asked my friends and family members to do the motion and many of then told me they heard the same "chime...

I don't know what to believe. People seem to get spikes from breathing. I just find it strange that D3 would cause someone's T to spike, since it's important for nerve healing. But who knows?

Tinnitus Caused by Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss — Update at 7 Months

@brownbear, Thanks for sharing your improvements! If you can hear it in the shower it must be pretty damn loud! Does that mean that the T "screams'' in a quiet room or is it just that it competes with a loud environment? This is something I always have been wondering. Take care and good luck...

Yes, the video with the guy talking about D3 vitamin is interesting indeed. It sounds like H to me. Don't worry, your ears are extremely sensitive right now and setbacks are common. Recovery can be slow, so protect your ears from loud sounds and give your ears a rest. If you feel like your ears are "closing up" when listening to music it probably means that they can't...

Everyone have to decided for themselves what they want to do with their life. Music is a great healer, I can't argue on that.
