    Explain This, Random Ringing?

Erik93 Yes I experience it too. Out of the blue, 1 ear suddenly has a louder T which goes away in less than a minute. Its called Spontaneous Tinnitus I think. Anyway check this website, it explains it. I guess it should not be something you should worry too much about as its quite common...

    Ringing from Singapore

As far as I remember, in Jul 14, I started to have close bouts of vertigo and ear fullness. But in late Sep 14, this was followed by 6-8Mhz of T with a volume of around 6-7. The volume lowered down to 4-5 usually by the next day. But in the first week of Oct 14, My T started by itself and...

I think is probably not high RF radiation. Through time (couple of months) it got better now. I don't get the symptoms anymore when I sit at my sofa already. Thank god, previously I had to stand to watch TV, haha. But anyway, My T (previously 6-8mhz, volume 6-7) seems to have gone away (since 3...

    Ringing from Singapore

I went to NUH's ENT. They are useless to me with regards to this. They will send you for a sound test and then a MRI scan of which all the results will show nothing wrong and then they will tell you to live with it.

    Ringing from Singapore

14khz-15khz is at a pitch that would drive you crazy if you can hear it. My T started in late Sep 2014 at 7khz and slowly progressed up to 14khz about a month later and have stay like that ever since. Fortunately for me the volume decreased from a 7 down to a 2-3 now. This is something I can...

annty I have been using Agar35. It seems to calm down my nerves and that may have indirectly help with my T. It is softer now, but I still do hear it. Mine is more prominent in a quiet room and it is at at 14k-15k high pitch. 1 thing I am fairly certain of is that stress and anxiety seems to...

Vicky84, I did call The Hearing Solution Group (http://thsc.com.sg/category/home.htm). They are offering this treatment called 'Neuromonics' Tinnitus Treament. But it costs a bomb. something like S$7k top be paid in cash. (can't use medisave). I would recommend you go to either NUH/SGH then...

Tibetan Medicine Works for Tinnitus — Test This Supplement!

Hi, just an update - Its been a month since I have been taking Agar 35 (2 pills 1 hr after dinner). It seems to help lower the volume of my T. But if I try to listen for it, its still there, but softer now. I also ordered Bimala recently and have started to take 2 pills in the morning, but sad...

Tibetan Medicine Works for Tinnitus — Test This Supplement!

Chewing it up first breaks it down faster I guess. I don't think there should be significant differences if you just swallow it whole. It has a bitter herbal taste but I'm fine with it I bought mine from http://www.himalayanremedies.com/ and so far have only been using Agar 35. Haven't tried it...

    Ringing from Singapore

nogood, I went to NUH for an MRI early this month. They found nothing with my head and ears (that's good) but they can't explain why I still have occasional vertigo and constant T. I think all the ENTs here in Singapore are useless with regards to treating the T condition. On a more brighter...

Tibetan Medicine Works for Tinnitus — Test This Supplement!

Ok, update. I increased my dosage to 2 in the evenings since the start of this week. I take them about 1 hr after dinner. (coincidently, my high pitched T always gets louder in the evenings). Weird Response to Frequency Test

bwspot Playing high frequencies for a while for you to identify your T frequency I guess its not too big an issue. If you intend to listen to that for a few hours at one go, then I'm not too sure. We have to ask the more knowledgable guys here.
  24. Patrick@SG

    Weird Response to Frequency Test

bwspot, My guess is that the T on your left ear is at 15000hz and the T on your right is not. When your ear hears external sounds that matches your T frequency it seems 'like the hair cells shut off or protect themselves', but it is not permanent. After a while (couple of mintues?) the T comes...

Marlene I understand that Ibola is not airborne, so it may not spread so easily like SARS, but whichever the case, be extra cautious. I'm staying over at the western side at Jurong. Ringing from Singapore

nogood, Thanks for the insights. I'd be inclined to try out melatonin as its readily available in the pharmacies here. Probably start off on a smaller dosage and see if it helps me to sleep better. Any recommendations on the dosage? I have a (non-medical layman) theory, that is running...
