Alcohol is a depressant and suppresses your nervous system. It binds to GABA like benzos and calms down the rapid neuron firing that causes tinnitus, so it makes sense. Also reduces my tremor.

It`s true while being on alcohol it softens, but the day after there is usually a peak. I havn`t drunken alcohol for a few weeks now and my high peaks are gone. T is more steady.

That's interesting that nicotine increases yours. Vaping doesn't affect mine... Have you tried a benzo to see if that has any positive effect for a break once in a while? Not a great solution but they do seem to help some people.

...original post is that the area where my TMJ joint is on both sides of my face and the area under my ears going down the sides of my jaw are extremely sensitive to alcohol and sugary drinks. If I drink alcohol or soda, I will get the worst shooting pain in those areas, so something isn't right.
