Hi derpytia I got my tinnitus from a head injury,I play guitar and love it I either play quietly or pop some moldex ear plugs in and crank it up and feel the noise! But never give up on music because one day you may find its your only escape! If you need to talk am here !

Well I am always certain that I have some silicone ear plugs usually corded ones that I can hang round my neck and tuck them into my shirt so when I know I am about to do something noisy use a die grinder hammer or airline etc i just pop them in a bobs ya uncle ! Haha

As an apprentice mechanic I work in frequently noise polluted environments on the daily just wondering if anyone else works in a simpler environment and wonder how you manage with your T?

Thanks for the advice guys I have been to an e.n.t and they basically said I have to deal with it which had a big impact on as I thought I would go and get rid of it!.i will defiantly check out a letter to a tinnitus sufferer and I will write back about what I think thanks guys !
