Screeching and Whistling Caused by Fans and Car Tires

I am not vaccinated, never contracted COVID-19 and my problems started when I was locked at home for 9 months, without using headphones or other loud things. I have also never been to any concert before that and that's all basically.

Any progress so far? I wear a TMJ splint too (for a month), it helped with ear fullness and maybe muscles feel less tight but the pain in and around the TMJ joint, including ear pain and the tinnitus is still the same :(

    1) Can Tinnitus Cause Headaches? 2) Can Headaches Cause Tinnitus?

Update. I suspect the cause of my tension headaches is the intense spasm of the muscles on my temples. The pain from temples fires into whole head from there. No idea how to fix that though. Not my priority however.

Can Tinnitus After Ear Syringing/Irrigation Improve?

Yes, only a bit though, assuming you have a lot of earwax inside. Technically, the tinnitus stays the same but because you will hear better, it will fade and it will feel more silent when in not totally quiet places. It is the same principle like hearing aids for tinnitus "masking" by...

TTTS After Exposure to Loud Sound

IDK. When I am in complete silence and suddenly some loud noise happens (like when a plastic bottle pops) then my tensor tympani fire to the point it is very unpleasing, almost hurting. But when I am at some extremely loud place, like a concert, I do not have any problems with tensor tympani at...

Screeching and Whistling Caused by Fans and Car Tires

Update. It is still there. Not sure if it got better. The thing is that I probably know the cause. Apart from tinnitus and this I have massive bilateral ear pain that is most likely due to a TMJ disorder. The pain started when my tinnitus started, but got worse and worse over the months...

How Can You Habituate to HIGH FREQUENCY Tinnitus?

Maybe if it is soft enough. Mine is so loud and so bad when I am in complete silence I feel like it is choking me. Like literally I feel like I am going to be suffocated by my tinnitus.

Unilateral Tinnitus: When to Get an MRI?

I think there is a surgery where the surgeon puts some isolation material between the nerve and the vessel. But it is dangerous though.

How Can You Habituate to HIGH FREQUENCY Tinnitus?

The problem with masking high pitch tinnitus is that it can only be masked with something equally ugly. And also when tinnitus is high pitched, it is not only about the noise but the feeling of pain or fullness. I have ultra high pitch oscillating tinnitus and it's an abomination.

Unilateral Tinnitus: When to Get an MRI?

They don't send people to MRI for acoustic neuroma only. They also look for something they call "vessel crossing" which is a condition when a blood vessel is touching the acoustic nerve from some reason. This can also cause tinnitus and maybe it is more prevalent than the neuroma.

Weak and Aching Neck — Would a Cervical Collar Help Me?

Hello, I have some weird problem with my neck. I would say it started slowly a year ago when we entered lockdown and I was doing school from my bed and my table through my laptop. I think the continuous looking down made my neck broken. Now I feel like my neck is always hard, like your arm...
