Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

I did my left ear which is my better ear. Stem cell/PRP injections. Nothing positive to report from Dr. John (trained by Dr. Shim) in Florida.

I'm Lost with Constant Suicidal Thoughts — My Tinnitus Is All I Can Think About

You should try Calm (Magnesium powder). It calms my tinnitus down a lot. A benzo, Klonopin 2.5 mg, does too.

Head Injury Induced Tinnitus — 2 Months In

First time I've heard of it. I'll google in now. I've seen multiple upper cervical chiropractor's. Seems similar to what they do. I've also done Dr. Shim's PRP injections in Florida, Low-Level Laser treatments, nasal cranial release etc.

Head Injury Induced Tinnitus — 2 Months In

How many weeks did it take for your tinnitus to simmer down some? Next Thursday it will be three full weeks. After my second surgery I remember it took a month or longer (same as my first surgery) before the surgery failed again. It's high frequency tinnitus from hearing loss.

Head Injury Induced Tinnitus — 2 Months In

I'm 2 weeks post op of my 3rd my ossicular chain surgery (stapedotomy). My tinnitus is still very high from the surgery. My incus and stapes were completely detached. They tried bone cement twice so this time we had to do a stapedotomy. I definitely regained some hearing but healing is still...

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

I would wait at least 3 months to go see an ENT. But if your audiogram is fine, then it's all about the tinnitus fading.

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

Good to know because if I go back, they're going to discount me a lot. Can you believe when I went to Dr. John with Dr. Shim, I brought up that this will likely significantly increase his practice and he told me "I'm probably losing tons of money because of all the appointments I had to cancel...

You can pick if you want the laser treatments. But he encourages it. My ear surgery was the worst mistake of my life, it failed and I lost a lot more hearing.

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

Yes, my tinnitus ramped up a lot. But I also had lots of anxiety. I have had constant anxiety since my hearing problems.

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

Did you think the injections hurt? Mine weren't too bad. I'm guessing Dr. John is getting good at it, as he's probably done 50+ people now since I introduced him to Dr. Shim.

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

Erika, the first time I visited there in September 2019, I noticed my tinnitus dropped significantly around Wednesday the second week of laser treatments. The FCR may have played a role in that as well. I did a total of 15 laser sessions, and FCR once in each nostril the very first day there.

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

Nothing really but he has a US patent on it, that's all I know. The patent is on the cone device, not the needle. Regular needle is used.

Did the Shea Clinic do anything positive to help your tinnitus or hearing?
  35. scotty03874

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

I know the answer to this question. Dr. John does the injection with a needle that Dr. Shim trained him to do and has a patent on. It's just a small cone. It's called ShimSpot. So there is no ENT present on site.

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

ErikaS, I've been to their clinic three times now, September 2019, December 2020 and July 2022. I have done FCR once on each nostril in 2019, laser all 3 times and Dr. Shim's injections once in 2022. I think you know I was Dr. John's first patient to ever do Dr. Shim's technique. I made their...

It's possible it's their new laser that's stronger. Are you only doing the LumoMed treatments?
  39. scotty03874

Feeling Great After 15 Clinical Low-Level Laser Treatments (LLLT)!

Yes, I would get high-frequency spikes for a couple of hours after each treatment. But they always subsided. From everything I've read about LumoMed, this is very common.

South Korean Clinic Treatment (Dr. Minbo Shim)

My first time I visited there in September 2020 I think that was one of the major reasons for my tinnitus relief because I have intracranial head pressure. Diagnosed by a doctor here in Boston.

South Korean Clinic Treatment (Dr. Minbo Shim)

I saw the video of the FCR's on the UFC Fighters but it definitely wasn't Dr. John that did the treatments, FYI. I've been involved in MMA and Thai kickboxing since I was 20 years old, I'm 47 now. I'm surprised he flew him private because there are tons of other chiropractors that do that...

Are you saying Dana White was treated by Dr. John? If yes, I wonder if he's done SunaVae yet? Where did you read that on the internet? I didn't really with the PRP injections but I guess he's using different stem cells now. Check out SunaVae. I wish I had better results, but it didn't turn out that way. Let me know if I can answer any more questions.

@Pharz, you are very rude to rate my posts as funny. Just because I lost a little money. I need the write-offs anyways. But we ALL lost FREQ now. Money I have plenty of. FREQ is downturning. Down almost everyday for a week in a row, but not crazy volume. An insider recently bought 105,000 shares though. Hope this doesn't dictate their upcoming trial results. I would think we would see a lot more volume. Chad Lawton, are you holding this long term? Or are you...

Is There a Link Between Eye Pain and Pulsatile Tinnitus?

They said my optic nerve is fine at Mass Eye & Ear, I went thru the ER this past Sunday. But I'm scheduled to go back on February 14th for an X-Ray, MRI and MRA. Maybe they will have some solutions for my swooshing noise that's been going on for the last month.
