Yup! I was in a huge huge huge anxiety state this day. I was also hypersensitive due to my anxiety. I'm sure there is a correlation ! I'm totally anxiety free today, but still have it.

My T is really quiet since I began my treatment. Ofloxacine (for sinusitis) Bilastine and Rhinomaxil (for allergy). Wait and see.

Back on meds for sinusitis. Prednisolone kill my T. Not a good thing imo - It break the habituation process. Wait and see!

Okay, met a 2nd ENT and dentist. Still no problem and hearing loss. dentist said I have a malocclusion. No spike from dentist btw as always.

Tomorrow : Sinus scanner 'cause my doc asked me to do it + Dentist to looking for TMJ. I will share the results!

I can't swallow food without a sip of water and have trouble chewing most of foods because my jaw muscles become numb. Dentist, here I come.

Back from 1w vacation, went to a amusement park, a lot of scream next to me. No spikes. It was a good healthy week, needed it!

This guy claims that: -Turmeric -Turmeric with curcumin -Ginkgo Biloba and some other stuff cured his tinnitus. He seems to be honest! (The recipe is at 12:20) I'll give it a try.

Went home and noticed it was more silent than usual. My Home is usually the worst place for my T. But I heard silence for 5min. It was good!

Update: Hi, So as I approach the 2 month mark (03/08), I can say that my tinnitus is very mild most of the times. It didn't stabilize yet however. It do not bother me that much! I begin to understand how you can habituate to this despite the fluctuations. So let's make a recap of what happened...

New discovery : I can modulate my T with my jaw and my neck. I could give chiropractor or osteopath a try.

24h without sleep for external reasons, My T do not seem to spike because of lack of sleep. Still looking for what could spike my T haha.

In my case, I didn't experience anything but tinnitus for the first 2 weeks. No pain at all. And then came hyperacusis which disappeared in 2 weeks. And now the distortions...

I know Michael, I know... But you never talked about distortions. It's apparently rare. My ears are not sensitives anymore to noises and my T is really mild. I'm not worried about T and H. Just this new symptom. I can't watch TV without hearing a ringing among it. That's heartbreaking for me...

A month and a half after my acoustic trauma, I now have new symptoms. My tinnitus is very quiet now and it's not my primary concern anymore. But now I notice a distortion in most of the external noises (TV, shower, fridge, car etc...) like "beeeep, beep... beep beep beep" Can someone explain...

Pink noise kill my T. It's likely temporary but I could sit in silence for at least 5min. Maybe I can kill it with a pink noise therapy ?

Well I avoided this thread since I'm not a 3 month+ sufferer yet. But it's soon my 2 month anniversary and I think it's time to consider this treatment because I'm likely a chronic tinnitus sufferer now. I see great news. It gives me some hope. :)

Owh, sorry to hear that. It mixes with the shower and fridge for me too. It's just easy to forget in my case, very mild. And I just pretend it was always there.

I went to a mall this afternoon, I could hear "bip bip bip... bip bip..." Distortion everywhere. Is that your famous alien noise? Haha it's cute, so it's okay! My usual tinnitus is mostly electrical noise today. No pure tone. Let's stay positive :)

Nope. Just the standard test. I suspect this distortion came along with a mild hyperacusis and pain. Maybe TTTS?
