I think that if you don’t experience any relief within 6 months, it’s nonsense to proceed with the device. It’s the same with Lenire. This is also valid for Neurofeedback. The doctors have always told me about this 6 month period. It seems to be some standard neurological treatment limit.

Two clinics I know about, who offered Lenire in the past, were very disappointed with its efficacy. Neither is anymore offering this treatment to their patients. So the study results are absolutely not in line with the real world data.

I am very curious how fast Auricle can commercialize this treatment. They should hurry because Lenire will disappoint a lot of people and they might not invest some thousands of dollars again to another “bimodal treatment”.

You need to find an audio program that has different modes for one frequency. The different modes can help match your tinnitus much better. Tinnitus is not usually comparable with the classic sinus tone (wave).

The problem with tinnitus is that in most cases it is not a pure sinus tone. I have an app which has different sound options for pure tones. Even with that I have problems to match my tinnitus. Sometimes I think it’s 5050 Hz, then later 3800 Hz and so on. It’s quite difficult.

Lenire doesn’t work. Save your money for Dr. Shore’s device. As Dr. De Ridder said in his latest video, Lenire doesn’t help to reduce tinnitus loudness, which means, it has no relevancy treating tinnitus. The FDA approval for Lenire will at least hopefully help to speed up the approval process...

I can’t wait for the launch of Dr. Shore’s device. I hope to read some positive testimonials here on Tinnitus Talk. I guess the device becomes available in the US market in 2024. I would love to see it earlier but I doubt it. I hope it won’t be the same kind of flop like Lenire by Neuromod was.

I also don’t believe in this treatment. For me it looks like super acupuncture, which usually has no effect on tinnitus. Especially for chronic cases.

15 dB reduction is quite a lot. Are you sure? Normally tinnitus is between 5-25 dB in loudness above your hearing threshold. I haven’t heard any news about MicroTransponder and Dr. Kilgard. Did they stop the investigations?

I hope the brain doesn’t get used to the pattern in Dr. Shore’s device, so that the effect gets reduced in time. Like happens with Lenire. That was the reason why Neuromod changes the parameters in Lenire after 6 weeks of treatment. What do you think?
