    If it is bad and you want to avoid medications you can try warming olive oil and putting a few drops in your ears. I use to take amitriptylline but had to stop (50mg) it would cause some bad spikes at night which stopped now I take melatonin or valerian root.

    Tinnitus signal comes from the brain. It is a lot more Complex than hair in the ear it could be cochlea or circulation etc... Some people have no hearing loss and have tinnitus , some people are Deaf but have no tinnitus.

    Lot of times. People have tinnitus for awhile and go to an ENT who tells them Most people usually get better by now and offer nothing. Sufferers leaves Feeling worst.

    Ken it has gotten better ;but the pattern of stress-insomnia-increased T setbacks is tiring. Waking up with T blasting in the morning after a night of poor sleep just ruins the whole day.
