Does it seem quieter? I would tentatively say that going from ringing to static is a good sign, but you never know with T. Unfortunately, no one here can give you any concrete answerws. If you've only had it for a week or so, then there's still a chance it will go. But again, we can't tell you that.

I knew about it but thought it would only happen if you really battered your ears. And that's just not true. I mean, it's true to a certain extent, but most people here are just people who are just susceptible to tinnitus for some reason.

Don't leave music completely. ALWAYS WEAR EARPLUGS WHEN IT'S LOUD. You don't want to risk this getting worse. Consider making quieter music.

I would say take prednisone first because there is a chance you might get a placeba in the am trial yes? at least you will know that you took something that was supposdd to help and then am might give you further benefit

You should always wear earplugs when going to concerts. ALWAYS unless it is pretty quiet. YOU don't want ot get tinnitus from noise exposure that was completely preventable.
