Tinnitus Down to 1/10 — Eating 8 Bananas a Day

Hi Ben, you actually raise a good point here and I would like to add that I am in no way endorsing people to eat 8 bananas like me. If you wish to then that is also fine but as you know everybody has different tolerance levels etc. However, what I would say is if you are thinking of trying it...

Tinnitus Down to 1/10 — Eating 8 Bananas a Day

Hi Lane, I was worried about this too. From reading it seems that unripe bananas cause this, not the ripe ones, and I am eating ripe ones thankfully. So far I have been ok.

Tinnitus Down to 1/10 — Eating 8 Bananas a Day

Hi Greg, I have had tinnitus since 2017. It was not too bad initially, but in the last 9 months it has basically manifested into what I mentioned, changing tones, beeps etc. Everyday was different and I tried many things to change it to no avail. Before now, it was fluctuating between a 6-9/10...

Tinnitus Down to 1/10 — Eating 8 Bananas a Day

Hi Toledo, I can certainly say a big yes to this! Staying hydrated I have found helps with the intake of them a lot and also doing some light moving throughout the day to keep the calories burning. I have said to myself, what would I prefer, problematic tinnitus or something the same everyday...

Tinnitus Down to 1/10 — Eating 8 Bananas a Day

Hi Keith, my diet is pretty average. I try to eat well but like us all, I have microwave meals and enjoy my pizzas/burgers. I try to eat my fruits/veggies but with the fruits I found a lot of the times I would buy them with good intention but then not eating them, hence this discovery. Hope all...

Tinnitus Down to 1/10 — Eating 8 Bananas a Day

Ok so this is something I thought I would never experience again in my life. My tinnitus is now barely audible and when I plug my ears it is like a distant faint murmur in the background. I still can't quite believe it. Basically as the title says, eating 8 bananas a day seems to have got me to...

Getting Worried — I Was Wearing Gaming Headphones When My Tinnitus Started

Sorry to hear this. 1) Don't stress. 2) Bunker in and protect the ears at all costs. 3) ENT will probably say it's wax. This is a red herring and very rarely the case, so do nothing. 4) It will fizzle away most likely.

Kava Kava for Tinnitus — Post Your Experience!

How can you say the sounds are insignificant? There is a big difference and vast array of sounds people experience, some of which go beyond the call of human tolerance. Different levels, depths, timbres, locations in the head, consistency, the list goes on. It is not just 'insignificant'. :)

Wearable White Noise Generators (WNGs) — Why Not Standard Issue for Tinnitus Patients?

Thanks Michael. I am not quite convinced with this 'sound enrichment' concept from these devices but that is just me. I say this as I can only deduce from from your literature that you are gaining neither a positive or negative effect from using them; meaning they seem to not be reducing or...

Wearable White Noise Generators (WNGs) — Why Not Standard Issue for Tinnitus Patients?

Hi Michael, my responses keep getting deleted so I don't know what is happening here. I have sound generators and like you, my tinnitus varies. If this is the case I am assuming it is a form of hyperacusis. I don't understand - if you are saying you are cured of hyperacusis why then does your...

Wearable White Noise Generators (WNGs) — Why Not Standard Issue for Tinnitus Patients?

Hi @Michael Leigh, may I ask what purpose you still use your WNGs for? I assume it is not for masking and you seem to have your hyperacusis under control.

Please Provide Perspective on Tinnitus Spiking Easily — Pivotal Job Decision

GBB, sorry to say it, but I don't think you're ready yet to take this job. It seems to me you already have a full time job just trying to stay afloat with this horrendous problem. Also, this problem will keep hitting away at you, day after day, with some days being worse than others. So think...

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Does anybody know (or have some idea) how effective FX-322 may be for those with tinnitus like me; who have no real hearing loss or difficulty in hearing. In fact I have been told by two audiologists my hearing is superb and very sensitive. My hearing test came out with both ears around the 5...
