Sad, Very Sad — Spoke to Someone Whose Family Member Killed Themselves Because of Tinnitus

Dreadful - and if you consider he was worth hundreds of millions - one assumes he had the best medical care. I wonder if he tried all options - Lenire etc etc. EDIT: Oh I just looked up the thread - so he tried Lenire.

...alone in this journey like I said . You may still see hope since it's fresh. I've heard some people be gone after a year I've had it for very long so unless I try the lenire or wait for the Susan shore decicw but am.thsnkful it's manageable I sleep normal and have a normal life for the most part.

Yes, that is my understanding. I think that is why Lenire is a habituation device and not a real treatment. Also maybe it explains some of its claims of success that differ so radically from the experiences reported here. I could imagine how a mild tinnitus sufferer might just need a bit of...

Look for a good audiologist. ENTs will know more about the latest sinus infection cure. My audiologist knew about Auricle back in 2021; find someone that actually knows about this disease.

...you after you paid. Thanks for reporting - hopefully it will dissuade others from enriching these charlatans. Do not lose any sleep over the tongue tip - there is no good evidence Lenire does anything useful at all. Return it to them. Put it back in the box and tell them you want a refund.

One Rock Festival Changed My Life by Giving Me Tinnitus

Sorry to hear about your struggle to sleep. Do you eventually sleep? And when you do, is it a good amount and/or uninterrupted? Regarding Lenire, what doesn’t work for someone may work for you so, why not right? I’ve downloaded some apps to help with my tinnitus: Widex Zen tinnitus (sound...

Please don't compare Susan Shore to Lenire. Susan has been studying tinnitus for 20 years and she is really trying to helps us. Lenire only cares about making money, they didn't even do a real clinical trial like Susan Shore is doing.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

As someone who had their tinnitus get worse due to Lenire, the fact it's getting approved in the USA is very worrying. Thousands of vulnerable people are going to have a bad time. I only purchased it because I was desperate and distressed without proper knowledge of this condition.

Auditory Mirror Therapy for Treatment of Tinnitus

Even if it only works for 30% to 40% of people to reduce their tinnitus by 6 dB to 12 dB, I wouldn't call that a flop, even though it's not the miracle treatment we dream about. But if it turns out to be more like the Lenire reviews, that's a flop.

What’s the Last Movie You Watched?

Saw X last weekend. The plot was... very symbolic. Scam artists eating each other. There oughta have been a character named Lenire. You have prolonged the suffering of millions of people. Your stratagems have delayed Dr. Shore's treatment by years, as you have opportunistically snatched away the...

...laying around, to lower the sound of Tinnitus. I don't have 4 grand stashed in the wall so I will do what's best for me at the time > take benzodiazepines so I lower the T and I don't off myself because of the horrendous noise. Maybe a wealthy fairy will grant us all a Lenire product to keep.

I have more faith on Susan Shore or an improved device of Neuromod after Lenire learnings and I think neuromodulation devices will have a better impact on neuroplasticity. But TRT can work, not for all, but it is not a scam.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

This. Given enough time someone usually chimes in on this thread to try to defend or root for Lenire a little bit but it doesn't change the underlying (at best) wishy washy testimonials. The only device worth tracking of this sort is Susan Shore's and even there I'm not sure the testimonials...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Hi y'all. Some of you may remember I was a lab rat in a UMich study and have generally expressed skepticism about Lenire because of two factors: It's a venture-capital-backed thing that has, to my eyes, abused an earlier European clearance for an earlier version of their device (MuteButton) to...

What I don’t understand from Dr. Shore’s work is this (I know we are still waiting for the results from the Phase 2): Lenire showed similar results but it did not translate to the real world going by Tinnitus Talk user experiences. I know Dr. Shore is using a control group unlike Lenire...

@Ryan Scott yep, that’s because how Lenire works. I’ll never forget them once explaining it as “instead of trying to decrease or inhibit the actual tinnitus sound, our strategy is to increase auditory input as a whole so that the brain doesn’t focus on that sound” or something along those lines...

@linearb, how loud was the sound played on Dr. Shore's device? And is the volume of the sound based on past research (i.e. experimenting changing the volume of the sound and seeing results in animals), or is it just arbitrarily chosen somehow? With Lenire I was able to adjust the volume myself...
